Ten Tips to look good on the go. | Quick and easy | Collaboration – Makeup on the Go

10 simple Makeup Travel Tips

Tips:
1. Always have to lipsticks, two different shades.
2. A foundation and concealer combo is always a great must have.
3. Brushes, foundation, powder, blush and a blending eye shadow brush.
4. A quad eye-shadow palette.
5. Blush, small single size.
6. Powder; optional as the two in one combination of the concealer foundation can be used without it.
7. Mascara
8. Eyeliner pencils; black and brown
9. Travel size face primer.
10. Lastly, don't be afraid to use your hands. They worked well long before all these other tools were invented.

Below is a link to a Collaboration video with Cindy and I,  using just my bare hands to complete a natural on the Go Travel look.

Ten Tips to look good on the go. | Quick and easy | Collaboration #2 – Makeup on the Go

Akelia and Jalisa Collaboration

Akeila blog is based on raising boys and for our Collaboration I opted to provide information on everything she needed to know about great vacations spot seeing that it was her first family vacation. She is planning to go to Margarita. She will be staying at the Sunsol La Isla Caribe Hotel ..

I’ve created a full itinerary for her trip. It was easy enough for me to help her plan her trip because Margarita is one of the Islands I have visited before. For most families, vacation comes but once a year if it even comes that often. For that reason, Akeila wants her family vacation to go smoothly, be fun and most importantly be memorable for all the right reasons. She doesn’t want to look back at their family vacation and remember all of the things that went wrong she wants to remember all of the things that went right. So that’s where my experience in travelling comes in.

For me it was very simple to plan her trip, because this something I love doing.

5 tips for Makeup on the Go

For my On the Go look. Cindy I did a 5minute makeup session, using 5 of her essentials and how to tips.
Five Products that I used to complete my on the Go look were
·        Blackopal Foundation
·        Blackopal compact powder
·        Brush
·        Maybelline  Mascara
·        La Girl Lipstick
Using the information and tips Cindy gave me I was able to complete this natural look in the space of five minutes.

During this session I learned from Cindy that with a few tips and tricks using on my hands, you don’t have to be a professional to have fabulous looking makeup. It has taken me years to learn my face shape, what colors flatter me, how much to apply, and how to apply it so that it looks beautiful and natural. You don’t have to spend hours doing it, either. Once you have the know-how, you’ll see just how much makeup can accentuate your best features and hide those that aren’t as favorable.

How is Margarita Island

This was my second to visit.

I can HONESTLY tell you that there is more to the Island than the beaches. There are sooooo many things you can do over there, and I am gonna tell you about them briefly. There are the Castles, Castillo de Santa Rosa, Castillo de la Asuncion, Castillo de Pampatar, and many more, and Give me a break Margarita has WAY more to offer than beaches, There is the National Park, in La Asuncion, which has some AMAZING views of the island. There is a small entertaining park called Musipan which is next to playa El Yaque, and that beach is notorious for its windsurfing, and shallow waters. There is also the shopping center called Sambil, there is the Ave, 4 de Mayo, where if you can find the main breakfast/lounge area, called Panaderia 4 de Mayo, you can find some AWESOME coffee and warm bread. I recommend you try the Chicha, its a kind of rice milk, very good. You can go to Playa Concorde, and buy a round, 1 day trip to Coche Island, rent a 4 wheeler and go around the island. You can also walk around Porlamar, and do some window shopping, or also buy little souvenirs. You can go to Juan Griego, and find little kids that rap you the story of that town (VERY FUNNY). There is also Playa Parguito, you can go to the top of the hill (there is one on each direccion, and its easy to get to the top) and take some nice pictures of the ocean, or just go to one of the restaurants, and enjoy a plate of giant shrimp with a $.2.00us Polar beer.

As for nightlife, there are many clubs you can go to, There is Sr. Frogs which is near the Hilton Hotel, and there is La terraza which is in Los Robles. I really hope you can put this information to use, as you will enjoy the many things Margarita Island has to offer to you. Good Luck!!!! And Enjoy your trip. P.S. Do not take the buses, rent a car, or take a taxi

Not a 5 Star But Great Value- Punta Cana Ocean Blue & Sand resort

First of all, I knew this wasn't a five-star hotel, it had a great price that matched our budget .

 Below my opinions:
Staff/Service: By far the best resource this hotel has, it was a delight to receive the excellent service of Yosaira Guerrero and Alcides Lora in the main buffet. Alcides has a great attitude and was always looking to make us feel welcome, Yosaira went beyond her duties providing an outstanding service, at the second day she already knew our preferences and what/when we wanted stuff. There were other great: Roberto T, and Lilliana (think she was in training), very hard workers with big smiles
.
Food: Very good, great variety and quality, desserts are to die for, and there's a great balance between typical dominican food and international cuisine. The Japanese Restaurant (Sensai) was great, the tepanyaki show by Angelo was fabulous and the food tasted great. Ask for Miguelina Mauricio to accomodate you, great service and will do as much as she can to make it a great experience for you.

Also Mike's coffee was a great stop for a Carajillo or a Frappucino.

Pools/Bars: Great, very clean, alcoholic beverages included, very centric and with enough pool chairs to relax, and chill.

Beach: Not for swimmers, not that tranquil... I stayed at the pool, great sun though.

Entertainment: Average

Summary: Good value hotel, average rooms, but excellent service, pool and food.

Cheapest way for vacation in Punta Cana?

The cheapest way is to organize 10 friends and get a group rate. last minute travel also has the better prices. Caribbean Airline provides cheap rates to the DR.

Pack light / underweight as the humidity in the DR will add pounds to your baggage!

Cheap is always expensive ! It's always better to look with other transporters or tour operators and the most important look for other places! Punta Cana is made for tourist

who dont like to go out their hotels, because in PuntaCana/Bavaro their is not much to see or discover. The town is 43 miles away. Summer isn't usually cheap because that's when everyone wants to go. Low season is August - November since it's hurricane season and not that many people want to go to the Caribbean that time. I recommend going with at least a 4 star, you seriously will be GLAD. it's a vacation after all, your not just concerned about going there. Since it's all inclusive there is a big difference between the FOOD/Service/Bedding/bathrooms from a 3 star to a 4 star.

Which is better for a Vacation Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a 1st world country.DR is a 3rd world country as a result Puerto Rico is going to be more expensive in terms of hotel and prices of food.

My choice is Dominican Republic. DR is a great country to spend a vacation in.
You have beautiful beaches, delicious food, a wonderful culture, great music, friendly people, and you might land yourself in a Hollywood film lol  ("Jurassic Park", "Love Wrecked", "The Godfather: Part II", "Havana", "Apocalypse", "In The Times Of The Butterflies", "Caribbean Beat", and "Dance With Me" just to name a few). Christopher Columbus is buried in Dominican Republic, and there is no problem with you visiting him at his temple. You can also learn Spanish and learn how to dance Bachata and/or Merengue. Oh, and you can't forget about the great resorts.
