Cheap is always expensive ! It's always better to look with other transporters or tour operators and the most important look for other places! Punta Cana is made for tourist

who dont like to go out their hotels, because in PuntaCana/Bavaro their is not much to see or discover. The town is 43 miles away. Summer isn't usually cheap because that's when everyone wants to go. Low season is August - November since it's hurricane season and not that many people want to go to the Caribbean that time. I recommend going with at least a 4 star, you seriously will be GLAD. it's a vacation after all, your not just concerned about going there. Since it's all inclusive there is a big difference between the FOOD/Service/Bedding/bathrooms from a 3 star to a 4 star.

Club Orient Nude Beach 

St Marteen is known for its beautiful beaches, clear calm water and great climate and Duty Free Shopping, however you do need to know and decide on what you're willing to be exposed to because be aware that some St Marteen beaches do have nudity. More so on Dutch side ("St Marteen") of the island. "St Martin" is French side of the island) Its a small island, but if you're going for a few days you wont be bored. Being in the Caribbean where alcohol is cheaper than water there are certainly places to drink. I highly recommend Bliss and Kush both on the Dutch side. Other things to do, take a small "ferry" from the Dutch mainland to Anguilla Island (has good snorkeling, but if that's  not your thing it is good to just lay out), shop for jewelry and knock offs in Philisburg, go to the market in Marigot (capital of the French side). The nightlife there is great. They have a good amount of nightclubs including strip-clubs some that are mostly tourists and of course the ones that the local frequent. Haven't been to the clubs on the French side just the Dutch which i hear are better anyway. If you're into gambling there are plenty of casinos
